I build systems for the point where software meets operations.

My work has consistently sat between software, infrastructure, and the engineers operating both. Today, that includes building AI systems that can use real operational context while remaining grounded, observable, and under human control.

Working principles

Production engineering changes how you evaluate technology. The happy path matters, but so do degraded dependencies, incomplete context, ownership, recovery, and the person who gets paged when the system behaves unexpectedly.

I bring that perspective to AI systems, automation, reliability, and developer infrastructure. The goal is useful leverage without hiding operational risk behind a good demonstration.

Foundation

Systems and security from the beginning.

I hold a B.Eng. in Computer Systems Security from Polytechnique Montréal. Earlier work included security consulting, malware analysis and reverse-engineering research, systems administration, teaching, and research.

That background informs how I think about AI and infrastructure today: access boundaries, failure behavior, and operational evidence are design concerns—not finishing touches.
